A cable gland is defined in the JIS standard for marine use as "hardware used for the penetration of electric wires into boxes that require waterproofing for electrical machinery and equipment installed on board." It is used to create a waterproof structure at the entry and exit points of electric wires. We offer a variety of types that can accommodate wire diameters from thin to thick, and we can recommend them when using marine cables or captive cables. (Compatible wire diameters: Φ7mm to Φ64mm) In terms of waterproof performance, by using putty or silicone materials in conjunction with the cable entry and exit points after installation, it can achieve an IP-66 rating.
