"Ruminastar" is a water-based paint that achieves high heat insulation and thermal insulation properties. By applying it to the roofs and exterior walls of buildings, it reflects solar heat and maintains internal temperatures through a thermos effect. It helps to maintain indoor temperatures, reducing air conditioning loads and improving indoor temperature environments. Additionally, it can be applied while the building is in normal use, and by using it at the timing of building repairs, there is a possibility that it can be accounted for as an expense if it fits the repair costs (Note 1). Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case study of the "Luminastar" that we handle, which was applied to a project. The construction period was from June 20 to July 5, 2019, with a construction area of 4,000 m2 of a corrugated roof. The effect measurement period was from July 1 to August 25, 2019. As a result, the air conditioning electricity consumption was reduced by 9,860 kWh compared to the previous year, resulting in a reduction effect of 40.6%. The reduction in air conditioning electricity costs amounted to 167,620 yen (calculated at 17 yen/kWh).
