We will introduce an example of outputting a "3D Disaster Hazard Map" using a "Color 3D Printer." When looking at disaster prevention and disaster maps in a flat format, it is easy to identify locations, but how those locations are structured in three dimensions is not clear to anyone other than experts. In this case, we created a three-dimensional disaster prevention map as one method to raise disaster awareness. By overlaying disaster prevention and disaster information maps on a three-dimensional map output from a 3D printer based on 3D data, it became easy to specifically confirm disaster information, such as the degree of slope of cliffs and the extent of the area.
