As part of our efforts in the robot cohabitation society promotion project in Kanagawa Prefecture, we conducted a demonstration experiment of a UV irradiation robot at "Terrace Mall Shonan" (Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture / Operated by Sumisho Urban Development Co., Ltd.) located in "Kanagawa Robot Town." **Features of the sterilization lamp-equipped robot "SR-UVC":** - The cart is compact in size, making it usable in narrow spaces. - No complicated initial setup is required; it can be operated immediately. - In the case of remote control, it can be operated while ensuring safety with human oversight. - Operation from a dedicated controller is very simple. - By implementing UV irradiation with "SR-UVC" as a primary disinfection method, it is expected to reduce infection risks and the psychological burden on operators.

Introducing the case of our developed ultraviolet irradiation robot as the first introduction in a medical institution, at the Yokohama Sakae Kyosai Hospital (Sakae Ward, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) of the National Public Service Mutual Aid Association! As the workload of hospital staff increases, so do the infection risks and psychological anxieties for workers (mainly nurses). Our company's developed remote-controlled "smart lock" was designed with the intention of being utilized in factories and logistics warehouses. It implements a protocol that can be used for the smart lock as a communication module in the 920MHz band, which can communicate over distances of several kilometers without interfering with Wi-Fi. - Opening and closing operations can be performed from PCs and smartphones. - Centralized management via the cloud is possible (including checking the lock's status and user management). - It allows for restrictions on users and time according to needs. In collaboration with our original robot, we conducted a demonstration experiment in 2017 with Yahoo! for their "my Things" service, considering vacation rentals and company housing. There are also plans for demonstration experiments in logistics warehouses.
