Kokugawa Electric Co., Ltd. will launch the industry's first adjustable spacer, which allows for three different settings of separation distance, developed for the "SFVP" power cable protection tube suitable for underground transmission of renewable energy, starting from May 30, 2025. This adjustable spacer can set the separation distance from 250mm to 350mm in three stages, allowing for adjustments to avoid unexpected obstacles during construction. Additionally, by ensuring an appropriate separation distance between the protection tubes, it can prevent issues such as cable outages and reduced transmission efficiency due to cable overheating.
