The "Sakushisu Ceiling W" is a suspended ceiling system that absorbs and disperses horizontal vibrations during an earthquake by placing movable ceiling panels at the points where the ceiling's outer perimeter meets the walls, allowing for vibration absorption. By inserting lightweight ceiling panels weighing less than 2 kg/m² into rails attached to the ceiling substrate with suspension bolts, vertical vibrations during an earthquake are controlled through the clearance of the rails.
