It is a type of machine tool that holds a round bar in a place called a chuck, rotates it, and applies a cutting tool according to its function to perform cutting. What types of processing are possible? 1: Outer diameter cutting Cutting the outer surface of the round bar. 2: Inner diameter cutting Cutting the inside of the round bar. 3: End face processing Improving the flatness of the cut surfaces on both ends of the round bar by cutting 0.5 mm to 2 mm for dimensional accuracy. 4: Drilling Drilling holes of specified size and depth on the end face of the round bar according to the drawing requirements. Multi-axis machine tools, such as composite machines, can drill holes on the side of the round bar. 5: Boring Using a boring tool on the drilled hole to widen it to fine tolerances or improve the flatness of the inner surface. 6: Thread cutting Cutting the outer and inner diameters of the round bar with a tool called a threading insert to form threads. 7: Parting Cutting by pressing the tool against the center of the round bar.
