Among resins, fluoropolymer (PTFE) is highly performant and excels in non-stick properties (slippery and difficult to adhere to). Utilizing these characteristics, it is coated on the surface of frying pans to make them resistant to dirt. While the non-stick property is an advantage, it can also become a disadvantage when you want to attach something to the fluoropolymer or stick it somewhere.
