The shades have remained unchanged since the company's founding and are meticulously crafted one by one by skilled folding artisans in a workshop located in Odense, Denmark's third-largest city. Free membership registrationOne of the most popular lights from Le Klint, the "Sinus Line." The beautiful and mysterious form, composed of countless curves woven into a single flat surface to create a sphere, has captivated many people. The light gently illuminates the space, creating organic shadows along the curves, making it a beautiful lighting piece that can truly be described as a sculpture of light. Designer Paul Christiansen discovered that folding the shade with mathematical curves results in a beautifully original form. He personally entered the Le Klint workshop, experimenting and creating various lights that utilized mathematical curves. Among them, the "Sinus Line," born in 1971, received particularly high acclaim. It was named "Sinus Line" with the hope that it would become a timeless masterpiece like the "Cylinder Line," designed by one of Denmark's most famous architects, Arne Jacobsen, for Stelton. "Sinus" comes from the mathematical sine curve. His wish came true, and even after 50 years since its birth, the "Sinus Line" continues to be loved around the world, its design feeling timeless and even conveying a modern atmosphere in contemporary living spaces.

Free membership registrationLe Klint's lighting, which is created by hand-folding a single sheet, features meticulously designed shades that can only be achieved through handmade craftsmanship, producing beautiful light and shadow effects. Le Klint's lighting is designed by leading architects and designers from Scandinavia, making it a prominent object in a space and a key piece of furniture that contributes to the design of living spaces and facilities, radiating its presence. We perceive lighting as an essential element that creates a healing atmosphere, and we invite you to explore the various lights that enrich the heart, unique to Denmark, where a distinct lighting culture has developed. <Brand Story> Le Klint began in 1901 when Danish architect P.V. Jensen-Klint created a shade to adjust the light of an oil lamp, inspired by Japanese origami. The designs and techniques refined through the long, harsh winters of Scandinavian life have been carefully passed down through the ages, and in 2003, Le Klint was selected as a purveyor to the Danish royal family. While preserving the design DNA that Le Klint is proud of in its unchanged Danish workshop since its founding, it continues to create lights that resonate with modern living through the craftsmanship of artisans.
