■Design Points 1. The sloped shape from the surroundings to the interior is designed to enhance the immersion in the artwork. 2. By creating depth between the acrylic and the artwork display, a small space is formed, enhancing the rarity of the artwork. ■Evaluation Comments from the Good Design Award Judges Traditional aluminum frames have been designed primarily for cost-effectiveness and ease of production, but Kuretsu is delicately designed with a focus on what will be displayed and where it will be hung. It does not neglect price range and productivity, resulting in a well-balanced product. The distance between the acrylic and the artwork has been carefully considered, and it has been praised for its ability to significantly change the image with a little ingenuity. ■Product Overview The cross-sectional shape of Kuretsu features a large triangle, with the section for inserting the acrylic separated from the section for placing the artwork. The large triangular shape, which is cut diagonally inward, contributes to separating the artwork from its surroundings and enhancing the immersion in the internal artwork.

Free membership registrationAruna Co., Ltd. has been awarded the 14th "Most Important Company in Japan" Award. After reading the book "The Most Important Company in Japan," written by Professor Sakamoto of Hosei University, I began to hope that Aruna would one day grow into a company that could receive this award, and after more than a decade, that wish has come true. While there are various awards in the world, the "Most Important Company in Japan" Award sets its evaluation criteria not only on sound management practices but also on "people-friendly" management, which includes the treatment of employees, local residents, and the employment of people with disabilities. This award recognizes companies that, even if small in scale, remain grounded and continue to be loved by people over a long period, rather than merely pursuing reckless sales expansion without genuine care. Among the 185 companies that applied, there were strict evaluations based on criteria such as "profit margin" and "turnover rate." Seventy-four companies passed the first screening. In the second screening, judges visited the companies, narrowing it down to 30, and ultimately, 14 companies were awarded the title of "Most Important Company in Japan." The reasons for Aruna's award are summarized separately on YouTube, so please refer to that. Encouraged by this award, we will continue to strive toward our goal of becoming a "300-year company."
