We simulate the heating and cooling consumption based on weather data and mechanical heat quantities, setting the size of windows and insulation performance. Additionally, a spacious atrium structure from the ground floor to the second floor allows for the entire building to be heated and cooled with five household air conditioners. With a high airtight and high insulation specification, combined with a household air conditioner, the energy-saving design reduces the electricity costs for air conditioning to one-third of the usual amount, significantly lowering both the initial and running costs of the equipment. Additionally, the interior materials used are cedar boards from Tokushima Prefecture.
