"Sea snow" is an artificial seawater ice-making device that creates snow-like ice using seawater or saltwater. Unlike conventional crushed ice, it maintains a low temperature (around -1°C) for an extended period. Because it is snow-like, it prevents damage to fish bodies, and with a salt concentration close to that of the fish (around 1%), it prevents freshness degradation due to osmotic pressure.
