A character from Akagawa Hard Glass Co., Ltd. has been born, and we would like to introduce it. The character's name is "red dipper." It finds and scoops up your glass from the infinite sea of glass and glass materials. Our company has over 40 years of experience in the production of "porous glass," which has the property of allowing gases to pass through, and it is used both domestically and internationally. Please feel free to consult us when you need our services. [Applications of Porous Glass] ■ Partial Porousization (Porous glass can be applied to only a part) ■ Superfluid Film Flow Containers (Porous the outer surface of the glass) ■ Porous Glass Coated with Graphene (Imparts conductivity while maintaining breathability) *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationOur company possesses a variety of equipment. For example, the "single furnace" allows for the heating of cat-shaped crucibles individually to produce pipe glass, blown glass, and crushed glass, enabling glass melting. The "redraw device" heats the parent material of pipe glass to temperatures between 600°C and 900°C, allowing for the production of thin pipe glass. In addition, we have a "V-type mixer" and various measuring devices. 【Equipment List (Excerpt)】 ■ Single Furnace ■ Various Testing Furnaces ■ Redraw Device ■ Glass Cutting Machine / Glass Polishing Machine ■ V-Type Mixer *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationOur company is a glass factory that consistently handles raw material formulation, melting, and molding. We process molten glass into granules, valves, pipes, rods, and perform press molding, among other forms. Among these, the production of glass tubes with freely adjustable inner and outer diameters is our strength. One person spins a rod with glass material while stretching the glass into beads, while another checks the dimensions by fanning it. Additionally, we accommodate small lot production that cannot be done by machines, custom manufacturing for prototype requests, and high-temperature glass production around 1600°C. 【Our Strengths】 ■ Production of glass tubes with freely adjustable inner and outer diameters ■ Small lot production that cannot be done by machines ■ Custom manufacturing for prototype requests ■ High-temperature glass production around 1600°C *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationAt our company, we consistently carry out raw material blending, melting, and molding, and we would like to share some voices of the artisans (technicians) who excel in this process. - The teamwork behind hand-blown glass (excerpt) Glass cannot be made to the exact same state as yesterday due to the temperature of the furnace and the way the molten glass is rolled. I have been in this field for 37 years, and I can never say that this is good enough. Creating glass is a lifelong learning experience. - The brilliance of individual skills in blown glass (excerpt) Molten glass is gooey and softer than taffy. I am always amazed by the skilled technique of wrapping that glass material around a rod and transforming it into a uniformly thick glass rod. Only the meticulously selected pieces, with no room for even the slightest deviation, become products. You can view the full text on our company website. Please take a moment to read it. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationA semi-automatic horizontal forming tube, as the name suggests, is a device that produces glass tubes using specialized machinery. When glass tubes are made by human hands, variations in breathing can lead to discrepancies in dimensions each time, making adjustments difficult. By switching to a human-machine interaction, we can reduce breathing discrepancies, facilitate adjustments, and stabilize dimensions by creating our own machinery. We strive to manufacture better glass tubes. 【Features】 ■ Glass tubes are produced by machinery ■ Reduction of breathing discrepancies ■ Easier adjustments ■ Stabilization of dimensions ■ Machinery created in-house *For more details, please refer to the external link page or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registration"Porous glass coated with graphene" is a porous glass that has been silylated on its surface and then carbon-coated using heated organic gas (chemical vapor deposition method; CVD). Using this method, the pore surfaces of the porous glass can be completely covered with a graphene film. In the case of a flat sample, a continuous graphene film is formed from the outer surface to the interior, allowing electricity to flow between the top and bottom surfaces of the glass plate. Additionally, the graphene film is thin, and the pore holes remain intact, so the top and bottom surfaces of the glass plate maintain breathability. [Features] - Improved alkali resistance - Conductivity is imparted - Retains the original pore structure of the nanoporous glass - Excellent chemical resistance - Porous electrode material *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

Free membership registration"Porous glass" is created by thermally treating uniform glass to separate it into multiple phases, and then selectively dissolving only the soluble phase with chemicals, resulting in the formation of numerous pores. It has a high adsorption capacity for molecules and ions such as gases and liquids, and by altering the manufacturing conditions, it is possible to create extremely uniform pores. Additionally, the size of the pores can be varied, making it suitable for use as a separation filter. At Akagawa Hard Glass Industry, we have samples of "porous glass" available. Please feel free to contact us if you need any. 【Features】 ■ Porous glass with numerous pores ■ High adsorption capacity for molecules and ions such as gases and liquids ■ Ability to create uniform pores ■ Usable as a separation filter ■ Sample orders can be placed for 5 or more pieces of various types For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registration"Crystallized glass" is obtained by re-heating glass and keeping it at a temperature above the liquid phase for an extended period, allowing its main components to precipitate as crystals. In most cases, it becomes opaque. By precipitating crystals, chemical durability and thermal properties can be enhanced. Many products take advantage of this feature, with one application being artificial marble. [Features] - Re-heating treatment of glass - Hardening and opacification - Increased chemical durability and thermal properties - Applicable to products like artificial marble For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.
