A joint research project between the Tokyo Metropolitan Waterworks Bureau and Nagao has developed a technology to remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in groundwater, such as trichloroethylene and benzene, to one-tenth of the drinking water standard. This device enables energy-efficient and space-saving treatment compared to conventional technologies and is capable of treating low-concentration VOCs. Furthermore, it can also remove free carbon dioxide using a similar mechanism. Our company has been manufacturing and selling various screen products for extracting groundwater and riverbed water for water supply facilities, industrial, agricultural, and fishery use for over 40 years. We have accumulated years of know-how regarding groundwater, and the water treatment device we developed is called "Chemiless." Chemiless is an environmentally friendly water treatment device that uses natural forces through a combination of contact oxidation treatment and biological treatment, without the use of chemicals such as oxidants or coagulants, to treat iron, manganese, ammonia nitrogen, and arsenic in groundwater. **Features of Chemiless** - **No Chemicals Used**: When chemicals are used, costs and efforts related to chemical expenses arise, but with Chemiless, there are no such costs or efforts involved. - **No Need for Media Replacement**: In typical filtration systems, media replacement occurs approximately every three years, but this is not necessary with Chemiless, saving both costs and efforts. - **Space-Saving**: Chemiless completes the treatment on its own and can achieve high-speed processing of 400m³ per day, allowing for a smaller installation area compared to conventional filtration equipment. - **Low Running Costs** - **Capable of Handling High Concentrations of Iron, Manganese, and Ammonia Nitrogen**
