YE DIGITAL and Pacific Consultants Co., Ltd., a major construction consulting firm, signed a memorandum of understanding in July 2021 to combine their respective IoT technologies and consulting expertise to provide solutions for reducing the increasing risk of flooding. In recent years, the risk of flooding has risen to unprecedented levels due to large typhoons, linear precipitation zones, and torrential rains, necessitating a response. While river monitoring using IoT technologies such as cameras and sensors has been expanding in rivers managed by the national government, smaller rivers managed by local governments are still forced to rely solely on existing water level gauges for monitoring, making the establishment of an IoT-based monitoring environment an urgent issue. Through collaboration with Pacific Consultants, which possesses high expertise and consulting skills in disaster prevention and mitigation as a construction consultant, we will not only provide river monitoring through the installation of cameras and sensors but also propose installation locations based on the characteristics of rivers and watersheds, and offer effective disaster prevention support, thereby achieving a reduction in flood risk for local governments. For more details, please check the news release on our website.

Takamatsu Teisan Co., Ltd. has started the operation of a gas level monitoring system using the fuel remote monitoring system "Miru Tank," provided by YSC Co., Ltd. and YE DIGITAL, since February 2021. Users of industrial gases procure gas from sales companies like Takamatsu Teisan and store it in cylinders or tanks. They visually check the remaining amount daily, and if the level is low, they need to place an order via phone or other means. However, this manual checking process poses risks of stock depletion for users due to potential oversights or delays in verification, and it can lead to emergency deliveries for sales companies. To address this issue, Takamatsu Teisan has been promoting the introduction of a gas level monitoring system for several years. However, installation requires electrical work, resulting in significant initial effort and costs, along with ongoing running costs, which limited the implementation to only a portion of users. This time, we have decided to implement the remote monitoring system "Miru Tank" sold by YSC. For more details, please check the news release on our company website.

Free membership registrationNishitetsu Bus Kitakyushu Co., Ltd. will introduce smart bus stops provided by Nishitetsu M-Tech Co., Ltd. and YE DIGITAL Inc. at all bus stops on two routes of the Kitakyushu Airport Airport Bus (Kokura Line and Orito/Kurosaki/Gakken City Line), starting operations on March 21. This will be the first time in Japan that smart bus stops are operated at every bus stop from the starting point to the endpoint of a bus route. The two routes of the Kitakyushu Airport Airport Bus being introduced have had their schedules revised to align with aircraft operation times, and employees are replacing the timetables at each bus stop accordingly. Due to the impact of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, aircraft operation times have been frequently changed, resulting in a workload that is approximately ten times greater than usual in fiscal 2020. This introduction will significantly improve the efficiency of bus stop management operations. Additionally, new bus stops (timetables) specifically for the Kitakyushu Airport Airport Bus will be installed separately from existing bus stops. By distinguishing these bus stops from others, a clearer bus stop environment will be created. For more details, please check the news release on our company website.
