【Carbon Neutrality Case Study】 Replacing parts originally made of high-tensile strength steel (590 material) with high-strength aluminum for carbon neutrality: A challenge towards weight reduction. This results in a 60% weight reduction compared to high-tensile materials. If processed at room temperature, the material would crack and be unprocessable. However, by focusing on the aging characteristics of duralumin, a processing method was developed that improves formability while maintaining material strength, successfully allowing for product processing. Nonetheless, there are still many challenges, such as determining the processing limits for each method, and evaluating the precision and strength of the products, especially since cracks can occur during bending if the bending radius is too small.

Free membership registrationPress-formed product: A component that was joined by welding two parts is now completed as a single press-formed part. Old method: Stamped part + Stamped part ⇒ Joining process New method: Stamped part, only one component By completing the process in just one press operation, CO2 emissions are reduced by 62.9%. We have proposals to solve our customers' problems with our technical capabilities towards carbon neutrality.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case study of deep drawing press processing using ultra-high strength materials. The metal press "deep drawing processing" technology is a method that our company excels at. By producing all the molds in-house, we can reduce the initial costs for our customers' development.
