The urethane thermal insulation method is a composite technique that combines internal and external insulation methods, using the most effective and inexpensive aluminum thermal reflective material "R-1" (a sheet specifically for the urethane thermal insulation method) that reflects about 95% of radiant heat, along with a resin foam layer (hard urethane sprayed on-site). By combining these opposing properties, it was developed to compensate for each other's shortcomings and to be effective in both hot and cold conditions.
