Tow prepreg is an intermediate material in which resin is impregnated into tows (bundles) such as carbon fibers, and it is mainly used for high-pressure hydrogen tanks for fuel cell vehicles and reinforcement of motor rotors. The feature of this product is that it is a tow prepreg impregnated with a special epoxy resin that has gas barrier properties, and it is designed for the recently developed Type.5 (linerless) tanks. In addition to hydrogen tanks, it is expected to be used in hydrogen stations and water electrolysis devices by combining this resin with glass fibers and other materials. It is a hydrogel composed solely of cellulose nanofibers, approximately 50nm in diameter, obtained through microbial fermentation, and water. It is produced using a method similar to that of nata de coco, which we consume. It has high water retention properties, with cellulose making up 1% of the hydrogel while retaining 99% water, allowing it to maintain moisture without drying out even when left at room temperature for extended periods. It is highly biocompatible and poses no harm when in contact with the human body. Additionally, it is an environmentally friendly material as it can be produced solely through fermentation without any chemical processing.
