The "Drop Sensor II" is a device designed to prevent the falling of items from shelves during an earthquake. When it detects a set acceleration threshold, a protective bar with a bellows automatically activates. There are two types available: one that drops the bar from above and another that springs the bar up from below. Our previous model operated on AA batteries, but this model uses a dye-sensitized solar cell that generates power in low indoor light and a lithium-ion capacitor, eliminating the need for battery or battery replacement. We will be exhibiting the following two products at the Disaster Prevention Technology Exhibition (Pacifico Yokohama D Hall) from February 8 to 9, 2024. Currently, both products are being developed with improvements to use dye-sensitized solar cells that generate power from low-intensity indoor lighting instead of traditional dry batteries. ■ "Drop Sensor" This device prevents items stored on shelves from falling during an earthquake. When it detects a set threshold of earthquake acceleration, a protective bar with a bellows automatically springs up to the horizontal level of the shelf without doors, or a protective bar descends from the upper shelf to prevent the stored items from falling. ■ Seismic Breaker "Anshin AutoS®" This seismic breaker automatically shuts off the circuit breaker in the distribution board when it detects an earthquake, stopping the power supply indoors. • Barrier-free facilities

Using the existing L-angle beams, M12 suspension bolts can be easily installed without any on-site processing. Cable supports and other accessories can be attached to the M12 suspension bolts for use.

• Systems Architecture

"Anshin Autos®" is a seismic breaker that automatically shuts off the circuit breaker in the distribution board when it detects an earthquake, stopping the power supply indoors. The sensor can be set to detect seismic intensities ranging from the equivalent of a strong 5 to a weak 6, with four levels available for arbitrary setting. If the sensor detects an earthquake and the reset switch is pressed before the circuit breaker is tripped, it can stop the circuit breaker from tripping and also turn off the alarm lamp and buzzer.
