We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of "AI License Plate Recognition Camera LPR for ACAP" for tourism regions to promote regional revitalization. Hakone Town has adopted the "AI License Plate Recognition Camera (LPR for ACAP)" for traffic data analysis aimed at tourism digital transformation. As part of a demonstration project in front of Hakone Yumoto Station, AI license plate recognition cameras have been installed to visualize the origins of tourist vehicles and to consider new approaches for tourism initiatives. With high-performance license plate recognition capabilities, it is possible to understand the usage and origins of visitors. Additionally, by utilizing reporting services, it is possible to obtain detailed information such as the addresses of vehicle owners at the district level.
