No matter how good the thermal conductivity of insulation material is, if there is shrinkage or deformation, heat will escape through those gaps. Insulation cannot be judged solely by thermal conductivity. Icynene spray foam insulation is composed of 99% air, eliminating concerns about peeling or shrinkage due to earthquakes or structural deformation. In the dimensional stability test results of ASTM D2126 in the United States, the deformation rate of "Icynene LD foam" was only 1.7%.
