"Structural Starwood" is a high-strength, high-water-resistant MDF made primarily from waste wood materials such as demolition wood from buildings. In 1994, it obtained ministerial certification for wall shear strength as an MDF for two-by-four housing. Since then, its specifications have expanded to conventional construction methods, and it has been adopted by many housing companies. "Starwood DII" is a type of structural MDF developed to enhance the quality of housing passed down to the next generation, featuring anti-fungal and anti-termite properties. By incorporating anti-fungal and anti-termite agents into the adhesives used in the Starwood manufacturing process, the components are distributed thoroughly, achieving high anti-fungal and anti-termite performance with only 1/10 of the chemical usage required for typical wood-based materials.
