Free membership registrationThis is an introduction to the installation of our above-ground seismic-resistant water storage tank and fire water tank, the 'BUG type', at a large advanced logistics facility in Osaka Prefecture. During the construction of the large-scale logistics facility, the need for fire-fighting water supply was considered. The installation site was on reclaimed land, and it was determined that installing an underground fire water tank through excavation work would be difficult, leading to the adoption of the above-ground type. After assessing the required water volume, a total of 16 units were installed. [Points for Installation and Selection] ■ A fire water tank was required due to the construction of the large advanced logistics facility. It was determined that excavation work for underground installation could not be performed on the reclaimed land, so the above-ground type was adopted.

Free membership registrationThis is an introduction to a case where our above-ground seismic-resistant water storage tank and fire water tank, the 'BUG type', was installed at a precision parts manufacturing facility in Aomori Prefecture. During the expansion of an existing private sector precision parts manufacturing factory, instructions were received from the local fire department regarding the need for additional fire water supply and a review of the layout due to the application of the Fire Service Act. The layout was considered with respect to the distance between the existing and newly constructed buildings and the fire water tank, and it was required that the tank be positioned so as not to affect the building's foundation. The decision to adopt an above-ground type was made due to the limited space available for civil engineering work. [Installation and Selection Points] ■ The need for a fire water tank arose due to the expansion of the private sector factory. Considering the impact of civil engineering work on the factory buildings, an above-ground type that can be installed in a compact space was chosen. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThe "Tank-in-Tank Method" (hereinafter referred to as "TiT Method") is our unique construction method that allows for the quick restoration of firewater tanks by installing a steel firewater tank inside the existing firewater tank. Traditionally, when restoring a firewater tank, it was necessary to remove the existing structure and install a new tank, which required securing public land for an alternative firewater tank and took about six months for construction. The "TiT Method" allows the existing firewater tank to remain underground except for the top slab, which means that instead of the usual three months for removal work and three months for new construction, the tank can be fabricated in two months and installed on-site in one month, allowing for construction and cost reduction in about half the time. ◆ Featured in the specialized magazine "Monthly Fire"! ◆ An article introducing the adoption of the "TiT Method" in Yokohama City was published in "Monthly Fire," a practical information magazine for the firefighting community aimed at firefighters and related organizations! * Source: "Monthly Fire," April 2019 issue, published by Tokyo Horeihon Co., Ltd. ★ Please check the introduction article data available for download in the "PDF Download" section below!

Free membership registrationThis is a case study of our ground-mounted seismic-resistant water storage tank and fire water tank, the 'BUG type,' installed in a vacation home area in Yamanashi Prefecture. The real estate developer that developed this vacation home area went bankrupt, and there was no company to take over, so currently, neither the prefecture nor the city has management responsibility, and there is no caretaker present. This project was advanced by appointing a representative from within the vacation homes and consulting with the city, leading to the installation. Local residents expressed concerns that the narrow road width and the presence of construction vehicles would be undesirable, voicing a desire to "shorten the construction period and avoid ground excavation." As a result, our product, which can be implemented quickly and at a low cost, was adopted. 【Installation and Selection Points】 ■ Short construction period ■ Cost-effective implementation *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThis is an introduction to the case where our seismic-resistant water storage tank for drinking water was installed as an emergency water supply tank in Yuasa Town, Wakayama Prefecture. In Yuasa Town, Wakayama Prefecture, two drinking water tanks have been installed on higher ground with the tsunami evacuation from the Nankai Trough mega-earthquake in mind. Most drinking water tanks widely used across the country are horizontally cylindrical and require large delivery vehicles, making them unsuitable for narrow access roads. Therefore, the vertically cylindrical products from Kanazashi Techno Service, which are lightweight, compact, and can be safely delivered and installed in a short period, were adopted. 【Municipality Data】 ■ Population: 13,000 ■ Area: 20.80 square km ■ Number of installations: 2 (both manufactured by our company) ■ Other facilities: Emergency drinking water (1.5L x 1000 bottles, 2L x 210 bottles), etc. ■ Responsible department: Yuasa Town Hall, General Affairs Division *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where our seismic-resistant water storage tank for drinking water was installed as an emergency water supply tank in Kashiwa City, Nara Prefecture. In Kashiwa City, there have been a total of 7 seismic-resistant water storage tanks for drinking water installed, of which 3 are manufactured by our company. In the case of a typical horizontal cylindrical tank, not only is a larger construction yard required, but it was also anticipated that costs would increase for foundation work and earth retention work. Therefore, our vertical cylindrical product using the caisson method, which does not require a long opening, was adopted. Particularly at Kamata Elementary School, there were restrictions due to a narrow delivery route, but safety was also taken into consideration, allowing the advantages of the caisson method to be utilized. [Municipality Data] - Population: 78,000 - Area: 24.26 square km - Number of installations: 7 (including 3 manufactured by our company) - Other facilities: 21 installed water supply tanks - Responsible department: Kashiwa City Water and Sewer Department, Construction Division *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where our seismic-resistant water storage tank for drinking water was installed as an emergency water supply tank in Fuefuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Fuefuki City has 25 emergency water supply points, and among them, three of our submersible-type products are being operated as emergency water supply tanks. There are only a few companies nationwide that handle drinking water tanks, most of which are in a horizontal cylindrical shape, raising concerns about restrictions on construction space due to conflicts with other construction work. As a result, Kanashitecno Service, which adopts a vertical cylindrical shape, was considered. Its adaptability to construction in narrow spaces and the absence of the need for earth retention work provided a cost advantage, leading to its final selection. 【Municipal Data】 ■ Population: 71,000 people ■ Area: 201.92 square km ■ Number of installations: 3 units of our product ■ Other facilities: 25 emergency water supply points, 27 water supply vehicles ■ Responsible department: General Affairs Division, Fuefuki City Hall, Fire and Disaster Prevention Section *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where our earthquake-resistant water storage tank for drinking water was installed as an emergency water supply tank in Ota City, Gunma Prefecture. So far, six earthquake-resistant water storage tanks for drinking water have been installed. Among them, our product was installed in the rotary in front of Ota Station on the Tobu Isesaki Line, with a capacity of 40m³. The rotary in front of the station experiences a high volume of pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and it is essential to avoid disrupting its function as much as possible. However, in the case of a typical horizontal tank, it was anticipated that a large construction yard would be required, leading to increased costs. As a solution, our vertical cylindrical product using the caisson method was considered. A plan was developed that ensured the functionality of the area in front of the station was not compromised, while also prioritizing safety and keeping the total construction costs lower compared to other companies, leading to its adoption. 【Municipal Data】 ■ Population: 220,000 ■ Area: 175.66 square km ■ Number of installations: 6 (including 1 from our company) ■ Other facilities: 210,000 emergency drinking water bottles, 16 emergency water purification devices, 2 water supply vehicles ■ Responsible department: Ota City Hall, Crisis Management Office *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where our seismic-resistant water storage tank, which also serves as a drinking water supply, was installed as an emergency water supply tank in Higashimatsuyama City, Saitama Prefecture. During the construction at the west exit of Higashimatsuyama Station in fiscal year 2008, and at the east exit of the same station in fiscal year 2009, it was important to minimize the required area during construction. Therefore, our vertical cylindrical product, which does not require a long opening, was adopted using our caisson method. We planned the construction with safety considerations to avoid impacting the water distribution pipes and to ensure that it would not obstruct the passage of citizens. Additionally, we were able to significantly reduce the total construction costs. 【Municipality Data】 ■ Population: 90,000 ■ Area: 65.33 square km ■ Number of installations: 4 (including 2 of our products) ■ Other facilities: Water purification plant, distribution facility, water reservoir, etc. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where our seismic-resistant water storage tank, which also serves as a drinking water supply, was installed as an emergency water supply tank in Yoshida Town, Haibara District, Shizuoka Prefecture. Yoshida Town is one of the leading eel farming areas in Japan, thanks to its abundant groundwater. The abundance of groundwater poses challenges in processing this water when installing a seismic-resistant water storage tank. In the case of typical horizontal tanks, the construction yard is large, and the spring water treatment becomes extensive, leading to significant cost concerns. Therefore, we proposed a vertical cylindrical seismic-resistant water storage tank that also serves as a drinking water supply, using a method that minimizes costs while ensuring that the park, where the tank is installed, remains usable. 【Municipality Data】 ■ Population: 30,000 ■ Area: 20.84 square km ■ Number of installations: 1 (including 1 unit from our company) ■ Responsible department: Yoshida Town Hall Waterworks Division Construction Section *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where our seismic-resistant water storage tank, which also serves as a drinking water supply, was installed as an emergency water supply tank in Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture. Toyohashi City, adjacent to the seismic source region that experiences repeated massive earthquakes, including the Nankai Trough, has had 24 cases of emergency water supply tank installations so far, of which 19 are operated as our submerged type emergency water supply tanks. While preparing for disasters is an urgent issue, the city's tight fiscal situation has led to a focus on cost comparison, while also seeking tanks with excellent water flow characteristics. As a result, our products were selected. [Municipality Data] - Population: 376,000 - Area: 261 square km - Number of installations: 24 (of which, 19 are our products) - Responsible department: Toyohashi City Waterworks Bureau *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Developed in collaboration with Professor Shigeo Honma from the Department of Civil Engineering at Tokai University. By applying a sine wave with a frequency of 3 Hz and an amplitude of 3 mm in the horizontal direction, and conducting experiments for a duration of 15 seconds, we confirmed its effectiveness against liquefaction. =======【Experimental video using models now available!】========== http://www.kanasashi-hi.co.jp/tank0404.html ==================================== *For other features and details, please refer to the catalog.
