Molten slag can be reused for various purposes by grinding it finely.

General waste and industrial waste, or the ash (incineration ash) that remains after burning such waste, is heated and melted at a high temperature of over 1200°C. The cooled and solidified product of this melting process is called molten slag. Molten slag can be reused for various purposes by grinding it into finer particles. When manufacturing concrete products, it can be mixed in as a substitute for normal aggregates, allowing for the production of various products. The slag mixing ratio for roadside ditches and pedestrian-vehicle boundary blocks has been set at 20%, and there are actual delivery records for this.
