Harima Science Park City is a cutting-edge technology hub that houses the world's largest synchrotron radiation facility, SPring-8. The Newsbar (Advanced Industrial Science and Technology Research Institute) within the facility is a research facility that utilizes the electron beams supplied by SPring-8 for industrial applications. Fuji Pream participates in research projects at this Newsbar and collaborates with Hyogo Prefectural University to develop synchrotron radiation application technologies. We are advancing ultra-fine processing technologies using synchrotron radiation. This technology enables the construction of three-dimensional structures at the nano (one billionth of a meter) level, making previously impossible fine processing feasible. The solar cell module developed by Fuji Premium is a next-generation solar cell module manufactured using unique solar cell lamination technology in a clean environment. Various types of solar cell cells can be encapsulated in a free arrangement within glass structures required for different architectural constructions. This has made it possible to realize the "building material-integrated solar cell module" demanded by architects. Additionally, a new type of light-collecting solar cell module that uses film as a substrate instead of glass can now be installed on curved surfaces, which was previously impossible. It is also now possible to create unbreakable solar cell panels, allowing for lightweight designs that can accommodate a wider range of applications.
