Acoya has been loved by leading architects and designers around the world as a renewable and sustainable outdoor material, and it has been widely used in next-generation buildings that consider environmental impact and in public works that require lower life cycle costs. While wood has a warmth and comfort unique to natural materials, it is vulnerable to water, decay, cracking, and damage from termites, making it a material that requires considerable maintenance. "Acoya" has improved these shortcomings through a technology called "wood acetylation," resulting in "decay-resistant wood." We would like to introduce "Aiken Material 'Rin'" handled by DaiRi FPC Co., Ltd. The distinctive feature of our uniquely developed "Natural Indigo Coating" is the use of dye that is the DNA of indigo itself. Due to the fine particle size of the pigment, it penetrates the structure, resulting in a product that beautifully highlights the wood grain. "Rin Kiwami" is a traditional processing method called "naguri," which creates a textured surface on wood, adding shadows and emphasizing the wood grain expression. The solid flooring E-Floor is developed under the concept of "floor heating flooring that utilizes the texture of solid wood" (jointly developed with Shikoku Gas). As a natural oil-coated floor heating solid flooring, it has numerous delivery achievements. The back side is treated with a special paper processing to minimize warping, shrinkage, and expansion due to heat. We offer a lineup of Sakura, Oak, Teak, Karri, and Chestnut, available in both floor heating and regular (non-floor heating) options. (Note: Solid wood will inevitably expand and contract, potentially causing gaps, depending on the installation and floor heating operation conditions. Additionally, please do not use carpets, rugs, or mats in conjunction with floor heating, as this may cause localized gaps and expansion issues.) "AOLA Tenage" is a sheet material processed with Tenage using veneer made from locally sourced cedar that has been coated with natural indigo paint. Tokushima's "Awa Indigo," highly regarded worldwide as "Japan Blue," is produced using traditional methods. Through unique development, this indigo is transformed into a paste-like semi-solid, allowing it to be applied and sprayed in a manner similar to pigments rather than dyes. The veneer, sliced from natural wood, is filled with resin, and reinforced with materials such as washi paper, non-woven fabric, natural leather, and canvas, resulting in a sheet that maintains the warm texture of natural wood while providing sufficient strength and flexibility.
