In response, we analyzed the worn punch we received. It was determined that iron was adhering to the tip of the punch, promoting wear, so we proposed a carbide material that is less prone to iron adhesion. After implementing the countermeasures, despite the new material having a higher number of strokes, the amount of adhered work material decreased, resulting in less wear.
