Ring net rockfall protection fence - RXE type -

Improved type with reduced deformation! You can choose from four types depending on the target energy.

The "Ring Net Rockfall Protection Fence - RXE Type" is a slope-mounted rockfall protection fence capable of handling rockfall energy up to 3,000 KI. While leveraging the advantages of the conventional Ring Net Rockfall Protection Fence (RX Type), this improved version minimizes deformation and allows selection from four types based on the target energy. By incorporating new components that were not present in the RX Type, its applicability to snow accumulation has increased, and the reduced number of cushioning devices has made parts replacement even easier. 【Applications】 ● Protection for roads, railways, private homes, public facilities, etc. 【Features】 ● Capable of handling rockfall energy up to 3,000 KI ● Slope-mounted ● Selectable from four types based on the target energy (RXE-500, 1000, 2000, 3000) ● Fewer cushioning devices make parts replacement even easier

Rockfall protection "LDB-500" that can be installed in areas with little distance from the preservation target.

A rockfall protection fence with reinforced posts that has a small deformation amount during rockfall impact. The shock absorption device is easy to replace and has excellent maintenance characteristics.

This is a rockfall protection system with reinforced posts that can absorb rockfall energy up to 500 kJ and has a small fence deformation during rockfall impacts. The fence deformation is less than 2.0 m (1.34 m in full-scale tests), making it most effective in narrow locations such as alongside roads and railway tracks. 【Applications】 ● Rockfall measures in narrow installation areas ● Rockfall measures alongside roads and railway tracks 【Features】 ● The fence deformation is less than 2.0 m, so it does not encroach on construction limits. ● By rigidly connecting the upper chord and posts, low deformation is achieved. ● The performance of the protective fence has been verified through full-scale testing. ● Rockfall energy is absorbed by the balanced arrangement of impact-absorbing components (U-brakes) utilizing the bending deformation of steel, and high toughness and high strength posts made by combining H-beams and steel pipes. ● Each span has an independent structure, allowing for maintenance and repairs within a limited area. ● It can be installed directly on retaining walls or on the ground.

[Construction Example] Rockfall protection fence construction with posts installed directly into the ground.

Case study of rockfall prevention and mitigation works in a 250m2 area of rock and gravel soil!

We would like to introduce a case where our wire rope-supported rockfall protection fence, "Rabbit Fence," was installed for the rockfall countermeasure work at the slope of the Nada Industrial Park. The project was commissioned by the Kurayoshi City Hall in Tottori Prefecture and was carried out within the prefecture. It involved rockfall countermeasure and prevention work over an area of 250m² with boulder and gravel soil. The "Rabbit Fence" employs an anchoring foundation method for fixing the posts, allowing the posts to be installed directly into the ground. 【Case Overview】 ■ Project Name: Rockfall Countermeasure Work at Nada Industrial Park Slope ■ Location: Tottori Prefecture ■ Construction Date: August 2023 (Year 5 of Reiwa) ■ Area: 250m² ■ Soil Type: Boulder and Gravel *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example] Rockfall protection fence construction that does not require a concrete foundation.

No need for concrete foundations; installation can be done on-site! Example from February 2013.

This is an introduction to a case where a wire rope-supported rockfall protection fence called "Rabbit Fence" was constructed as part of the prefectural road improvement project. The project was commissioned by the Takahagi Construction Office in Ibaraki Prefecture and was carried out in Ibaraki Prefecture. The soil type consisted of rock and gravel, with a quantity of 50m². This method allows for the installation of posts directly into the ground by using an anchor foundation for securing the posts. 【Case Overview】 ■ Project Name: Prefectural Road Improvement Project ■ Location: Ibaraki Prefecture ■ Construction Date: February 2013 (Heisei 25) ■ Quantity: 50m² ■ Soil Type: Rock and Gravel *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Wire rope-supported rockfall protection fence "Rabbit Fence"

Due to the hinge design, it is possible to adjust the installation angle relative to the slope! The required support height does not change even on steep gradients.

The "Rabbit Fence" is a wire rope-supported rockfall protection fence that does not require a concrete foundation. It can be installed on slopes near rockfall sources, allowing it to catch falling rocks before significant rockfall energy is generated. Additionally, since it does not require the construction of a concrete foundation, there is no need to secure space for concrete trucks or concrete pump trucks to enter and install, making it possible to construct as long as a compressor for drilling can be brought in. 【Features】 ■ Can shorten the distance to the rockfall source ■ Can keep the height of the posts low ■ Can be installed in narrow locations ■ Can minimize the impact on the landscape due to terrain alteration ■ Can reduce maintenance costs *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Hyogo Prefecture Construction Case Study: Reinforcement Method for Existing Rockfall Protection Fences and Noise Control Measures During Demolition

This is a construction method that does not require measures for noise, dust, or high-alkali water treatment during concrete demolition.

Here is a case study of the "Stronger Method" implemented in Hyogo Prefecture. As a result of the construction, the fence height increased from 2.0m to 3.0m, with a construction length of L = 69.0m. This method does not require the use of small heavy machinery, so there is no need to cut down surrounding trees. Additionally, excavation of slopes and the use of concrete are not necessary during construction, allowing for the reuse of existing structures. 【Case Study】 ■ Raised type (Fence height: H = 2.0 → 3.0m, Construction length: L = 69.0m) ■ Hyogo Prefecture (Construction: Fiscal Year 2018) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Hyogo Prefecture Construction Case Study: Reinforcement Method for Existing Rockfall Protection Fences - Easy to Construct with Lightweight Materials!

The materials are lightweight and easy to install! It can also reduce the impact on nearby residents, such as traffic restrictions.

Here is a case study of the "Stronger Method" implemented in Hyogo Prefecture. As a result of the construction, the fence height increased from 2.0m to 3.0m, with a construction length of L = 24.1m. This method utilizes a uniquely developed high-strength wire mesh made of three strands of steel wire, which prevents the mesh from being penetrated. Additionally, for areas where the fence height is a concern, height-raising materials can be used to increase the fence height. 【Case Study】 ■Height-raising type (Fence height: H = 2.0 → 3.0m, Construction length: L = 24.1m) ■Hyogo Prefecture (Construction: Fiscal Year 2018) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
