Are you having trouble with "fastening resin"? You can fasten resin with "bolts + nuts." You will gain basic knowledge about screws specifically for resin.

Are you struggling with "fastening of resin"? With resin, you can achieve fastening using "bolts + nuts" by utilizing dedicated screws. Dedicated screws include insert nuts and insert bolts that are embedded in the resin. In softer resins compared to iron, embedded bolts or nuts can rotate together, leading to deformation or breakage of the resin. Have you ever experienced deformation of resin products due to "nut rotation"? Our original development of dedicated screws for resin (Octa Lobular(R) series) features a special octagonal head shape that ensures high torque resistance and high pull-out strength. Even when tightened with high torque, it prevents "rotation" and "pull-out," protecting resin products. You can choose from various types of insert nuts (simultaneous molding type, press-fit type, and both with caps) and insert bolts (both simultaneous molding and post-embedding options) according to your specifications. The SSOO nut is a "heat press-in type insert nut (outsert nut)" that achieves high "torque resistance performance" and "pull-out strength." We would like to introduce the thread reinforcement (insert nuts) for non-ferrous materials, including aluminum die casting, handled by our company, Berhof. 【Product Details】 ◎ Helicoil: For aluminum extrusions Using bolts on a base material with low shear strength poses a risk of thread damage. However, by using this product, the risk of having to completely replace the product during thread repair is prevented. This is an introduction to a case where the automotive parts that typically used six insert nuts were replaced with the "high-strength" SSOO nuts from Daiichi Kogyo (high torque compatible insert nuts), resulting in a reduction of the number of components to four. The SSOI nut improves torque resistance performance by being molded into a special octagonal shape. It is an insert nut that achieves "difficulty in rotation" and "difficulty in removal," molded simultaneously during resin molding. This technical report presents abundant test data, including tensile tests and torque strength tests, as well as adoption results, explaining the excellent performance of the SSOI nut. ● "Difficulty in rotation" By molding into a special octagonal shape, the torque resistance performance has been significantly improved compared to conventional insert nuts.
