We would like to introduce a case study utilizing network-based RTK in the "Establishment of Reference Points Accompanying the Digitization of Road Ledger" by Ariake Surveying Development Co., Ltd. 【Work Details】 ■ Installed 70 new points over a total length of 80 km * Network-based RTK involves observations of more than 10 epochs (single point observation method) 【Benefits and Effects】 ■ The conventional ground method using total stations took 30 person-days (3 people x 10 days), whereas this case was completed in 3 person-days (1 person x 3 days). ■ Significant cost reduction was achieved by reducing both work time and manpower. * For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Example] Installation of River Distance Markers

Introducing observation examples of 75 Class 4 reference points in the topographic survey of rivers in Saga Prefecture!

We would like to introduce a case study by Kyushu Surveying and Design Co., Ltd. that utilized network RTK in "river distance marker installation." In this case, network RTK was used to conduct observations of 75 fourth-class reference points during topographic surveying of rivers in Saga Prefecture. On-site checks of the observation values (closure) were performed to confirm the consistency of the observation values, and then calculations for the provisional and practical networks were conducted back at the office to determine the coordinates. In the above scenario (only observation time), the work would typically take about two and a half days if done with total stations, but by using network RTK, the work time was reduced to 7 to 8 hours, achieving a significant reduction in work time (with good visibility overhead). 【Benefits and Effects】 ■ Cost reduction compared to conventional reference point surveying (work can be done by one person) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
