The "Design of Gravity-Type Abutments (H24 Road Guidelines Version)" is a civil engineering design software that allows for the calculation of acting forces on gravity-type abutments, stability calculations for direct foundations, stability calculations for pile foundations, and member design, based on the Road Bridge Design Guidelines (March 2012). Design considerations include checks against Level 2 seismic motions when located on ground determined to experience Level 1 seismic motions (using the seismic intensity method) and liquefaction.
