Verification of sustainability certification as a measure to prevent origin fraud! A case study on building reliability and transparency in the supply chain.
As a measure to prevent origin fraud, we would like to introduce an example of measures taken by SCS Global for diamond origin certification. In the verification of SCS-007 sustainability certification for lab-grown diamonds, we verify not only the producers of lab-grown diamonds but also the reaction furnaces where the diamonds were manufactured. It is possible to analyze both natural diamonds and lab-grown diamonds using our technology. We can trace the diamonds from the producers who grew them in the lab to the reaction furnaces where they were manufactured.
