[Construction Example] Apartment: Correction of Sunken Floor Slab / Underfloor Void Filling Work
The ground floor slab has sunk due to the earthquake! A case study of improvements made to the gaps between the floor and walls, and between the walls and ceiling.
We would like to introduce a case of "floor sinking correction work" and "underfloor void filling work" carried out in a condominium located in Higashi Ward, Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture. Due to the impact of the Kumamoto earthquake, the floor of the first floor of the condominium sank, creating gaps between the floor and walls, as well as between the walls and ceiling. By adopting the Upcon method, which allows for corrections without the need to move, the gaps that had formed between the floor, ceiling, and walls due to sinking were improved. 【Case Overview】 ■ Construction Area: 1200m2 ■ Maximum Sinking Amount: 61mm ■ Area: Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture ■ Construction Period: 15 days *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
