Characteristics: The wood grain is interlaced, and the texture is coarse. It has a golden brown luster. It has good drying and adhesive properties but is prone to splitting when nailed. It is strong but relatively easy to work with and does not warp easily. It can produce large diameter and long-length materials. It has a lot of resin, so caution is needed when painting. Its decay resistance is moderate. Uses: Used for structural materials such as columns and beams, custom materials, fittings, furniture materials, plywood, utility poles, and shipbuilding.
