What is the latest method for examining the shape and deformation of structures, known as the Sampling Moiré Method?

Many objects undergo significant deformation when force is applied, ultimately leading to failure. By studying this deformation, it becomes possible to achieve prevention, prediction, and repair.

Many structures built during the period of rapid economic growth are approaching the end of their lifespan. In particular, to ensure the safety of infrastructure such as bridges and buildings, it is necessary to evaluate their integrity. One important method for confirming their integrity is to examine the shape and deformation of the structures. Additionally, it is essential to verify the strength of newly developed structures with real-life tests. Representative methods for examining the shape and deformation of structures include the "Image Correlation Method," "Grid Method," "Moire Method," and particularly the newer "Sampling Moire Method." [Features] - Image Correlation Method: Randomly capture images and find patterns with the same features after deformation to investigate displacement. - Grid Method: Capture images of an evenly spaced grid pattern and examine the phase of the grid to determine displacement. - Moire Method: Overlay grids before and after deformation to investigate displacement through the resulting Moire fringes. - Sampling Moire Method: Investigate displacement by capturing only the grid after deformation. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Ovality Sensor

Kiln shell roundness/curvature measurement sensor! Measures can be considered in advance to extend the lifespan of the rotary kiln!

The "Ovality Sensor" is a rotary kiln measurement tool that measures the changes in roundness/curvature, which is the periodic elastic deformation of the operating kiln shell. This elastic deformation is referred to as ovality and primarily occurs near the kiln tires. This measurement provides accurate information regarding the mechanical load on the kiln shell, allowing for proactive measures to extend the kiln's lifespan. 【Features】 ■ Can be measured while the kiln is in operation (hot) ■ Lightweight handheld size *Sensor: approximately 1.5kg ■ Compact size, allowing it to pass through the space between the roller and shell in most cases ■ Comes with a long-range Bluetooth adapter *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Heat-resistant absolute sensor: TC sensor

It is an absolute type linear sensor that can be used at high temperatures of 150℃.

General absolute-type linear sensors cannot be used at high temperatures due to reasons such as the presence of an embedded electronic circuit board. The TC sensor features a structure that separates the sensor and converter, which has been a design principle of RiveX, and it achieves an absolute measurement method. If it is an oil pneumatic cylinder, it can be integrated (space-saving) or used as an external sensor. Additionally, since it measures in absolute terms, there is no need for origin return, eliminating the need for re-adjustment after momentary stops or regular maintenance. The shape of the sensor can be customized, so please let us know your requirements. Also, please share your preferences regarding the output format of the converter.
