[Mirror Introduction Case] Preventing collisions at the bottom of the stairs!

This mirror is very nice. You can check for people coming from the other side of the hallway while going down the stairs. (Asahi Kasei Kawasaki Manufacturing Plant)

We would like to introduce the feedback from Asahi Kasei Kawasaki Manufacturing Plant, which has implemented the FF mirror corridor. ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… I often move between the first and second floors for work, and there were many times when I almost collided with someone coming from the other side of the corridor right after descending the stairs, which was quite alarming. When I consulted with the safety department, they provided a solution with a mirror. This mirror allows me to see across the corridor from the stairs, and it also enables me to see people coming down from the top of the stairs when I'm in the corridor, which is very helpful. [Mirror Introduction Case] Ensuring safe passage for forklifts!

We would like to introduce a case where blind spots have been eliminated, allowing forklifts to pass through safely! (Totez Maintenance)

We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of "Rami," handled by Komi Corporation, at Tōtetsu Maintenance. There were blind spots in the warehouse where forklifts could potentially collide, so we decided to install mirrors. Since there was no need to see the upper area, we chose our product that provides a 180° view of the lower area. When there were no mirrors, we had to proceed slowly and visually check the blind spots. Now, by looking at the mirrors, we can predict that "there are no forks in the direction of travel, and none are approaching," allowing for safe passage. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Implementation Case] Strengthening of internal safety measures has been achieved!

Enhancing safety at corners! It can be installed at eye level, allowing blind spots to naturally come into view! (Nippon Steel Setouchi Works)

We would like to introduce a case where the 'FF Mirror Passage (for left and right use)' handled by Komi Corporation was implemented at Nippon Steel's Setouchi Steelworks. The mirrors that were previously installed at blind corners were positioned too high, making them easy to overlook. With our product, which provides a wide-angle view on a flat surface, it can be installed at a lower position, naturally catching the eye (installed at 3 locations: FT46). This has strengthened safety measures. We are considering additional measures for other areas that require attention. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Implementation Case] Installation of mirrors for the safe transport of patients.

We installed mirrors in five locations within the hospital! Here is a case study on how we have made safe transportation possible (Former NTT West Japan Tokai Hospital).

We would like to introduce a case where the mirrors handled by Komi Corporation were implemented at NTT West Japan Tokai Hospital. Among the patients, there are those with weak muscle strength or difficulty stabilizing their footing, which raises concerns that collisions could lead to falls. To prevent fall accidents and ensure the safe transport of patients, we installed 'FF Mirror Corridors (for left and right)/Lami/Lami Dome/Lami Corner' in five locations within the hospital. As a result, we received feedback stating, "There is a significant difference in peace of mind with the mirrors compared to without. Since the mirrors were installed, the staff has become more attentive and can now transport patients safely." [Case Summary] ■ Products Used: FF Mirror Corridors (for left and right)/Lami/Lami Dome/Lami Corner ■ Effect: Enabled safe transport *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Implementation Case] Eliminating Near-Miss Incidents During Bed and Stretcher Movements!

Staff alert! There have been fewer near-miss incidents during the movement of beds and stretchers (Tama Hills Hospital).

We would like to introduce a case where "FF Mirror Corridor (One-Sided)" handled by Komi Corporation was implemented at Tama Hills Hospital. Initially, we took measures at 10 high-priority locations, and staff from each ward requested additional areas to be addressed. As a result, we purchased 9 more mirrors, tailored to the width of the corridors and the installation locations. Even in wider areas of the corridor, there were moments of concern when moving beds or stretchers, but by introducing this product, we were able to raise staff awareness. 【Case Overview】 ■ Product Used: FF Mirror Corridor (One-Sided) ■ Effect: Reduced instances of concern during the movement of beds and stretchers. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Implementation Case] Strengthening Safety and Sanitation Measures in Restaurants!

Chinese cuisine close to 100℃. Here is an example of installing a mirror to ensure safe transportation (Ginza Aster Kamata Hinkan).

We would like to introduce a case where the mirrors we handle were implemented at Ginza Aster Kamata Hinkan. Chinese cuisine, which often contains a lot of oil and has a thick consistency, can reach temperatures close to 100°C. As a result, those carrying the dishes may spill hot food on themselves while trying to avoid collisions, even if they don't actually bump into anything, leading to a high risk of serious burns. Additionally, the kitchen area contains many sharp knives and angular stainless steel surfaces that require careful attention. Although we have always prioritized safety and hygiene, we felt the need to strengthen our measures and installed the mirrors. After installing our "FF Mirror Passage," we received feedback such as, "Unlike regular mirrors, they reflect widely, allowing us to see people's movements from the front," and "There have been no collision accidents in the approximately six months since installation." [Case Overview] ■ Product Used: FF Mirror Passage (one-sided) ■ Effects - Provides a wide reflection, allowing visibility of people's movements from the front - No collision accidents have occurred in the approximately six months since installation *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Introduction Case] Measures against near-miss incidents at restroom entrances!

Prioritizing safety, a mirror has been installed at the entrance of the relevant restroom! Introduction case of FF mirror corridor (Shibuya Cast).

We would like to introduce a case study of the 'FF Mirror Corridor (for left and right use)' handled by Komi Corporation, implemented at Shibuya Cast. During site patrols to identify hazardous areas in the facility, we witnessed a "near miss" where a customer almost collided with another person near the entrance of the restroom. In the installation process, adjustments were made such as selecting "large mirrors that are easy for the elderly to see" and ensuring "that people can be seen in the mirror from a child's eye level." We are also considering additional installations in other restrooms where mirrors have not yet been set up to further enhance safety. [Case Overview] ■ Implementing Company: Shibuya Cast ■ Implemented Product: FF Mirror Corridor (for left and right use) ■ Results: Adjustments were made, and we are considering additional installations in other restrooms where mirrors have not yet been set up to further enhance safety. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Introduction Case] For safety confirmation on heavily trafficked roads!

A case study of a mirror installation that can be set up in places without walls for safety checks on roads with heavy traffic (Aoki Shinkin Bank, Urawa Branch).

We would like to introduce a case where our "FF Mirror Standalone Embedded Type" was implemented at Aoki Shinkin Bank, Urawa Branch. At this branch, the street in front of the parking lot is a major road with heavy traffic, which posed a safety concern. Therefore, we decided to install the Commie mirror that is set up at the head office. As a result of the installation, the view of the street in front became clearer, allowing for a safer exit from the parking lot. 【Overview】 ■ Product Used: FF Mirror Standalone Embedded Type ■ Effect: The view of the street in front became clearer, enabling a safer exit from the parking lot. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Implementation Case] Collision Prevention in Hallways! Installed at the Eye Level of Wheelchair Users

To prevent collisions in the hallway! An example of installing mirrors at a low position for wheelchair users (Tokyo Business Services).

We would like to introduce a case where Komi Corporation's "FF Mirror Corridor (One-Sided) / (Both-Sided)" was implemented at Tokyo Business Services. We had felt the need for collision prevention in corridors for some time, and the opportunity to implement it arose when we learned that another company in the same building had installed our mirrors. The mirrors can be installed at a height that suits the line of sight, so we set them slightly lower than usual to accommodate wheelchair users. In corridors with elevators and restrooms, we felt a sense of danger as employees would gather all at once during lunch breaks, but since the mirrors were installed, we can now anticipate when people are coming. [Case Overview] ■ Product Used: FF Mirror Corridor (One-Sided) / FF Mirror Corridor (Both-Sided) ■ Effect: Collision prevention in corridors where people gather *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

【Case Study of Security Mirror Installation】I want to check the blind spots of vehicles.

Accident prevention with a low-cost mirror that can cover a wide range of blind spots!

We would like to introduce a case study on the implementation of safety mirrors proposed by Shin'ei Bussan. There have been a series of tragic accidents where children have been caught and killed in mechanical parking lots. In response, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism issued guidelines to ensure that the situation inside the boarding and alighting area can be monitored from the control panel as a safety measure. In light of this, our company proposed a low-cost mirror that provides a wide view without making the image too small to a certain mechanical parking lot manufacturer. This has been helpful in preventing accidents. [Case Study] ■ Effects - Contributed to safety checks and increased safety awareness ■ Products Introduced - Half-spherical mirrors R-30H, R-50H, R-70 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study of Safety Mirrors] Want to improve the efficiency of vehicle inspections.

Improving work efficiency! Even if the mirror breaks, it can be replaced; using stainless steel for the fittings and back panel for long-lasting use.

We would like to introduce a case study of the safety mirror proposed by Shin Ei Bussan. At a certain railway company, during vehicle inspections, staff would disembark and walk around the vehicle to check the headlights. To improve inspection efficiency, they considered installing mirrors and requested a design that was "as compact as possible due to strong winds" and "usable outdoors for about 10 to 15 years." We proposed a mirror with stainless steel plates and brackets that are resistant to rust and ensure strength. Since its installation, it has been used without any issues and requires no maintenance. [Implementation Case] ■ Effects - Improved work efficiency and long-lasting use due to rust-resistant stainless steel ■ Product Introduced - SSG-30B *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
