Principle of Galvanic Battery Type/Zirconia Type Oxygen Concentration Meter

In Tekune Measurement, we handle two types of oxygen concentration meters based on the principles of galvanic cell and zirconia methods. 〇 Galvanic Cell Type The lead anode performs an oxidation reaction, assisting the reduction reaction at the cathode. It behaves as if combustion is occurring at the anode due to oxygen, generating current, which is why it is also called a fuel cell type. PPM models: 2010BX, 2001RS, 2001LC, 1000RS % models: 210BX, Oxtron, 201RS, 1100BE, 201LC 〇 Zirconia Type It compares an unknown process gas with a known reference gas using the Nernst equation. The sensor measures the electromotive force to determine the oxygen concentration.
