10 years without accidents! Introducing a case where a system was implemented that prevents machines from operating without proper placement.

We would like to introduce a case study of our "mat switch." The customer was using their hands to assist with the winding of large cables. One time, they lost their balance, and their hand got caught in the winding machine. They contacted us to implement a mat switch as a countermeasure. We set it up so that the winding machine would stop immediately if someone stepped off the mat. A system was introduced where the machine would not operate unless feet were in the proper position.
