It was implemented because it is very effective for space disinfection, hand washing, deodorization, etc. Super hypochlorous acid is actively used within the hospital due to its high safety for cleaning food and disinfecting the environment. "Pure Star" is a manufacturing unit for mildly acidic hypochlorous acid water, born from the long-standing hygiene management experience of a dairy company. It is non-toxic and has minimal impact on the surroundings, yet it is highly effective against microorganisms. That is Pure Star. On June 10, 2002, mildly acidic hypochlorous acid water was designated as a food additive by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. Additionally, on March 28, 2014, it was also designated as a specific pest control material by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Ministry of the Environment. Microbial contamination causes numerous problems such as food poisoning and pathogenic infections. The newly developed Pure Star produces mildly acidic hypochlorous acid water that has almost no odor or taste. While it has high disinfecting power, the effective ingredients contained are very minimal. It is gentle on human skin and has little impact on the environment, making it a safe disinfectant water to use. Moreover, Pure Star can produce mildly acidic hypochlorous acid water with an extremely low amount of electricity, allowing for reduced manufacturing costs and enabling use with a similar feel to water.
