【Heat Stroke Prevention】Introducing heat-insulating sheets as a substitute for air conditioning equipment for heat countermeasures.

Case study at a cosmetics manufacturer. It contributes to significant reductions in annual running costs, as well as measures against heatstroke for employees!

In hot seasons, measures against heatstroke are essential. Although the cosmetics manufacturer we consulted with already had air conditioning equipment installed in their building, it was not very effective in combating the heat. To help protect employees from heatstroke, we proposed the installation of heat-shielding sheets. [Background Leading to Implementation] - A site survey was conducted the previous year, and construction was carried out after sufficient discussions. - The interior of the building is spacious, and since it was possible to bring in high-altitude work vehicles for the construction, we received cooperation in moving materials within the construction space by setting up scaffolding. [Implementation Effects] To confirm the effects after construction, measurements were taken using a thermal camera (main image). Unconstructed area: 39.1°C, constructed area: 22.9°C A temperature difference of up to 16.2°C was measured. The heat-shielding sheets not only suppress the rise in temperature but also keep the initial costs low. Heat insulation sheets are easy to install, and simply applying the sheet allows for insulation! Using heat insulation paint can reduce the construction period to about one-third, leading to a shorter construction time.

The high-performance "heat-shielding sheet" is a heat insulation material that cuts 99% of radiant heat, which cannot be prevented by insulation alone. By using it on the roofs and walls of large spaces such as factories, it is possible to suppress the temperature rise of buildings caused by the radiant heat of the summer sun and lower the perceived temperature.
