[Underfloor Heating Construction Example] Tochigi Prefecture - Renovation from Japanese-style Room to Flooring

This is a flooring heating renovation from a Japanese-style room. It is a larger two-story house with a Japanese-style room on the second floor, built about 30 years ago. Since we cannot access under the floor, the wiring is done above the floor.

Here is the introduction to the work process. 1. Since the second floor cannot be accessed from below, we will cut the wiring route on the floor using a circular saw. 2. We will install the underfloor heating mat. This room will have an underfloor heating area of 3000mm x 3000mm. 3. We will run the secondary side line of the underfloor heating up to the wall where the controller will be installed. 4. Later, once the wall is completed and the wallpaper is finished, we will install the controller. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*

[Underfloor Heating Construction Example] PTC Poka and Underfloor Wiring Connection

Drill a hole in the base for the sheet's power wiring, drop the wire under the floor, and connect it underneath the floor.

The opened hole will be sealed with waterproof tape. The wiring lowered under the floor will be connected to a dedicated cable with a connector (extension wire). The connected connector part will be insulated with self-fusing butyl. Additionally, the cable will be supported so that it does not touch the ground. For each circuit, the connected cable will be pulled up from under the floor through a hole made in the subfloor, so that it is inside the wall of the controller installation area. Once the interior work is completed, the controller will be installed, and that will be the end of the process. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Case] PTC Pokara - Renovation Work in Fukushima City, Fukushima Prefecture (Above-Floor Wiring)

This time, since we couldn't go under the floor, we created a 60mm wide groove in the floor base to run the wiring.

Behind the area where the sheet is laid out, a fireplace is also prepared, making it perfect for both cold weather measures and atmosphere. The controller is also installed, and it's complete. Now, all that's left is to wait for the winter general. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*

[Construction Example] PTC Pokara - New Construction Project in Tomioka Town, Futaba District, Fukushima Prefecture (Above-Floor Wiring)

We have installed floor heating throughout almost the entire first floor, including the corridor and entrance.

A panel-type floor combining base plywood and insulation material has Zetron 4mm applied, and under it, a floor heating sheet has been installed. The base plywood and Zetron are cut to 80mm width to secure the wiring route and connection space for the sheet. Connections are made within the groove for the wiring route and sealed with wide waterproof tape. The wiring is routed to the installation box on the wall around the kitchen. The controller installation position is consolidated on the wall around the kitchen along with the lighting switch and hot water remote control. The controller will be installed after the interior work is completed. A 9mm plywood is laid under the marble-patterned carpet tile, with the floor heating sheet beneath it. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*
