Ammonia gas, which is emitted in large quantities from production equipment such as LEDs and semiconductors, is completely oxidized through direct combustion. The NOx (nitrogen oxides) generated during this process is also rendered harmless through reduction treatment, eliminating concerns about air pollution. When drying sludge generated from community wastewater treatment facilities in a drum to produce compost pellets, mainly ammonia-based exhaust gases are generated. It is cleaned using one unit of Deolizer DR-2W (made of PVC) and a dilute sulfuric acid drip system. While maintaining a pH close to neutral, it maintains performance with ammonia gas concentration reduced from 100 ppm to below 1 ppm.

There was a challenge in reliably capturing rubber debris and finely shredded wire. The rubber debris and wire were successfully captured, and there have been no occurrences of duct fires in the subsequent stages. Compared to the previously used wet-type dust collection and exhaust gas treatment system, (1) the capture efficiency has significantly improved. (2) There is no longer any concern about duct fires in the subsequent stages. (3) The screens have become less prone to clogging. Based on this evaluation, we have decided to deliver a total of five units.
