Wet-type electrostatic precipitator energy-saving measures

By performing intermittent load operation of the IGBT-type high-voltage power supply device, it is expected to achieve approximately 40% reduction in power consumption compared to the thyristor type while maintaining dust collection performance.

IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) is a power semiconductor device characterized by high-speed switching, which has recently been used in a wide range of fields from general households to industrial equipment as a replacement for thyristors for power regulation. Our company was the first in the country to adopt IGBT-based high-voltage power supply units in electric dust collectors, aiming to achieve energy savings (electricity) and reduce CO2 emissions.
