We would like to introduce a case where our multipurpose electric cart "MITRA" (formerly known as the electric mobility base unit) was utilized as the base for the "Original AMR (Towing Type)" at YAMAZEN Corporation. The Original AMR is equipped with autonomous driving software (3D LiDAR) on a base unit for Suzuki electric wheelchairs. The multipurpose electric cart "MITRA" features smaller φ280 tires compared to typical AMRs, making it strong on rough surfaces (steps and slopes). It has become a tough AMR capable of transporting between semi-outdoor buildings.
