This is a ball screw that achieves a combination of rotational motion and linear motion, known as "helix," by incorporating a ball screw groove and a ball spline groove on a single shaft.
Linear motion + rotational motion. The BNS type is a stroke and rotation unit that features a ball screw groove and a ball spline groove crossed on a single axis, with dedicated support bearings directly incorporated into the outer circumference of both the ball screw nut and the spline outer cylinder. By rotating or stopping the ball screw nut and the spline outer cylinder, it is possible to achieve rotational motion, linear motion, and spiral motion on a single axis.
