Non-woven fabric made from polyolefin blended with biomass polyethylene derived from sugarcane. Certified with Biomass Pla Mark and Biomass Mark.
Our company has developed an advanced biomass polyolefin spunbond nonwoven fabric (BioALFIN).
The production of BioALFIN uses Braskem's Green PE, a biomass polyethylene, allowing for the production of nonwoven fabrics with a biomass content of up to 50%.
We have already obtained the biomass mark for grades with biomass contents of 25 and 50, as well as a grade with a biomass content of 10.
The nonwoven fabric is classified as combustible waste under the Container Recycling Law. By using biomass raw materials, it is a carbon-neutral material that can help suppress the increase in CO2 concentration in the atmosphere when incinerated.
With sustainability as a key concept, it is an environmentally friendly material that we can propose.
