Wood "Pacific Coast Hemlock"
Easy to follow up! We will introduce wood that excels in holding nails and screws.
The "Hemlock" includes the "Western Hemlock (Tsuga heterophylla)" and the "Pacific Silver Fir (Abies amabilis)." Both species grow in the same habitat and are difficult to distinguish once processed into lumber, so they are collectively referred to as "Pacific Coast Hemlock" without differentiation as products. The material is light-colored, with a pink or reddish-brown hue, and the growth rings are distinct, with the transition from springwood to summerwood not being prominent, featuring a uniform straight grain with a medium to fine texture. 【Features】 ■ Strong against bending and shearing, with good rigidity ■ Although it takes time to dry, drying cracks are rarely observed ■ Suitable for machining, yielding a very smooth surface when finished with a planer ■ Easy to glue, with excellent holding power for nails and screws ■ Exhibits excellent compatibility with paints and stains *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
