The chute switch is a device designed to issue an alarm signal and emergency stop the belt conveyor when the chute of a belt conveyor or the chute of a tripper is blocked by transported materials. It is mounted on the side wall of the chute and operates by moving a detection plate due to the side pressure from accumulated materials such as ore. The detection plate is installed using dust-proof bearings, allowing it to move smoothly even if dust adheres to it. To prevent issues caused by condensation, a proximity switch type is also available as an option. The detection operating force can be adjusted from 9.8 N to 14.7 N at the tip of the detection plate. Therefore, the chute switch can be used across a wide range of belt conveyor lines, from small powders to bulk materials.

We would like to introduce a case study of the admittance-type level switch 'MAL-110' handled by Matsushima Majatech. There were voices expressing frustration about having to "go to the site every time there is equipment trouble, open the sensor cover, and check the operating status one by one!" In response, we introduced this product, which is equipped with an operating LED on the cover.
