By utilizing the PumpLinx simulator for pump transient flow characteristics, flow analysis within the vane pump can be conducted smoothly.

PumpLinx has mesh templates for various types of pumps. By using templates tailored to the specific pump type being analyzed, the time and effort typically spent on mesh generation for fluid analysis of standard pumps can be significantly reduced and streamlined. For example, even for complex mechanisms like vane pumps, optimal meshes for analysis can be quickly and automatically generated by setting parameters such as the number of vanes based on 3D CAD data. Additionally, the integrated GUI allows for smooth handling of operations such as mesh generation, setting analysis conditions, executing calculations, and displaying results all on one screen, making the analysis easier and faster. Furthermore, many positive displacement pumps, including internal gear pumps, may experience cavitation during their operating cycle. PumpLinx supports cavitation analysis through the adoption of high-precision cavitation models and cavitation damage models.

A complex site involving nine companies is progressing swiftly with architectural BIM.

Introducing a case study on the implementation of architectural BIM at Ark Design Office Co., Ltd. × Ogawa Kogyo Co., Ltd. A collection of case studies featuring numerous examples of architectural BIM implementation is available.

We would like to introduce a case where a design company and a construction company, which met for the first time, collaborated effectively using BIM in a complex public project. This project involved the renovation of an existing building and the expansion of a new school building at a prefectural special needs school, with a total of nine companies participating in this complex site. Aruku Design Office and Ogawa Kogyo worked together, transcending differences in companies and positions, with one responsible for design and the other for construction.
