The "V Process" is one of the aluminum casting methods, which involves shaping sand, the material for the mold, through reduced pressure, known as vacuum casting. Although it is a type of sand casting, it does not harden the sand with a hardening agent, allowing the cast sand to be repeatedly reused without special treatment after casting. Compared to previous sand casting methods, it generates less industrial waste and achieves low pollution, resource conservation, and energy savings, making it a vibrant casting method.
